Programme Overview and Highlights

The Industrial Doctorate / Industrial Masters programme partners industry to train and develop talent pipeline for the industry at the postgraduate level for the following programmes.

  • Master of Engineering (MEng)
  • Doctorate of Engineering (EngD)
  • Master of Clinical Research (MClin)
  • Doctorate of Clinical Research (ClinD)

Candidates will work on an industry-derived project and will be jointly supervised by SIT faculty and Industry supervisor. The candidate will spend 50% of his/her time in SIT taking academic modules.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess the following:

  • A relevant Bachelor degree from a recognised university
  • Current employees of companies with Bachelor degree qualifications are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates will be salaried employees at the Partnering Company while pursuing full-time graduate studies with SIT.

Intakes and Application Dates

There will be two admission intakes per academic year:  September and January.

The deadline for application submission is:

  • September Intake: End of June
  • January Intake: End of September

  1. The above Postgraduate Programme Fees are for AY2019/20. They are not fixed throughout the student’s entire candidature and are subject to yearly review and revision.
  2. The fees for International Students and Non-Subsidised fees are inclusive of 7% GST.
  3. The subsidised fees for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents shown are without GST, as GST on tuition fees will be subsidised by Ministry of Education.
